Hi all, Nov. 14, The Taiga Bean-Goose took to the air from the same general area as all previous mornings except that it came up about 6:15 when the vast majority of while geese all came up at the same time and it was the lone brown goose in the flock. We were unsure if it was "the" hoped for goose. As the flock looped out over the field east of Vendel Road this lone dark goose went down by itself in about the same location it had the past two days. Upon getting the bird in the scope it was confirmed but we were surprised to see that three Greater White-fronted were already there on the ground and had already been there before I arrived. The bird was in the same location when I left about 9am.
